About
Dr. S. Fatima is an Associate Professor at CART, IIT Delhi. Her research is in the areas of machinery health monitoring, NVH, machinery and industrial noise control, acoustical natural materials, reliability and maintenance. Dr. Fatima holds a PhD and Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. She is a recipient of the DST inspire faculty award and the young professional award from the International Institute of Noise Control Engineering. She was a post-doctoral fellow at the Ray W. Herrick Laboratories of Purdue University, USA under the Schlumberger Foundation faculty for the future award before joining the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. She has wide experience in NVH, industrial noise control, machinery health monitoring and has received several international and national awards for her research in the areas of noise control.
